FUN DAY 2 JULY 2000
Once again a big thank you to our hosts Bryan and Di Clarke for the use of
their land and allowing us once again to enjoy the lovely views. Also to
Steve, Debbie and Lorna Huddy and Lionel Hawkins for organising the rings
and Barbara for organising the rosettes and assisting the judge on the
day. Also thanks to Norman Grimes for judging all classes and Steve and
Barbara Hartree for judging the Fancy Dress.

A most enjoyable and happy time was had by all who attended and took part
in the Fun Day.
We were also treated to a dog agility display which was enjoyable to watch
as both dogs and owners were obviously having a great time. I believe this
was their first public appearance. We wish them all the best for future
public appearances.
The amounts taken on the day were raffle £39.50 thanks to Martin Turner
and Lorna Huddy and everyone who donated the prizes. Teas etc. raised £73,
thank you to Steve and Gel Brooks for their help and Kathy Turner and
Annie Rich for their cakes. We also received a £10 donation.
And most of all thank you to everyone who attended and made it such an
enjoyable day. Weren’t we lucky with the weather, I hope you all got home
dryer than we did.
