Priddy Rally Report
The Priddy rally was held on Sunday 24th. September starting from Hill
Croft Farm by kind permission of John and Chris Flayman who always make us
so welcome.
It was a very wet morning to start with, one whip and groom arrived early
only to find the groom had forgotten to put the whip’s waterproofs in !!
Ooops !! But John and Chris came to the rescue providing brand new ones.
Fortunately the rain cleared and we had a very pleasant drive, stopping at
Priddy Green for some refreshments for the whips, grooms and stewards, and
a rest for the ponies. Then it was time to move off again and return to
Hill Croft, where Chris had made lovely home made cakes and tea and coffee
for everyone. Also stabling was kindly provided for the ponies. The drive
was good, on quiet roads.
A couple of
very wet turnouts on Priddy Green.
Thanks to John and Chris for allowing us to use their premises again and
for making everyone so welcome. Thanks also to the whips, grooms and
stewards, without all of your support there would be no rally.
