We
gathered on an unseasonably wet morning at Hillcroft Farm, Blagdon by kind
permission of our hosts, Mr. and Mrs John Hayman. We had four turnouts
with us for a decidedly damp rally around the Mendip lanes, despite the
weather—there were plenty of gaps in the rain—we had a pleasant drive in a
nice part of the county.
We had a pleasant
stop on Priddy Green for a drink, fortunately it didn’t rain while we were
there so we were able to enjoy the surroundings, including the blossom on
the tree we were stood by.

Three views of our little group on a saturated Priddy Green. As you can
see the lane was flooded but that didn’t stop us enjoying being there.
The tree in blossom was beautiful, watch for it in this years video!
Our thanks go to the Haymans
not just for providing a venue to start from but also for the delicious
cream teas they laid on for us on our return, also to Bryan and Di for
once again organising the rally.
