Rally Report

Badminton 27 April 2003

Blue skies and sunshine again welcomed us at the third rally of the year, which Colin Henderson (head coach man of the royal mews) organised for us at Badminton.  When we arrived there wasn’t anywhere to park, fortunately the meeting in the hall finished before most of the boxes arrived!  We had eight turn outs including Mike Millard who broke down and caught us up half way, well done Mike.  The route took us through the lanes via various villages to Luckington, where Colin treated us to the hospitality of his boot (car!) whisky, gin, coffee, tea etc. for those who wanted it.  We continued onwards through the lanes and back to Badminton.  On our return to the horse boxes, he presented his own trophy to Bert Harding.   The club is very grateful to Colin for organising this yearly rally out of his precious time.
