Rally Report

Frome, 5 January 2003

The first rally of 2003 was held at Annie Rich’s field in Frome.  The weather was kind to us, dry and bright, and three outfits took to the lanes including a new pony of Annie’s.

It was good to see you out with us again Annie. After our trotting around the lanes we returned to Annie’s Stables for a feast (mulled wine, soup and bread rolls) My mouth waters at the memory. The afternoon entertainment was the long-reining, putting to and driving of Annie’s Shetland pony.  In all a great day out.  Many thanks to Annie and Kathy for the venue and food, and to all those who helped with the Shetland and the Stewarding.
